Happy August

Even though we go back to school; I'm pretty content! I've missed all my good ol' school chums!

It'll be good to actually have something to do! That sounds really strange coming from me since I did work all summer...

I'm obviously crazy! Considering the fact that I'm actually ready to work more! Though I feel this year will be school year will be fun for everyone(hopefully). No promises, but we'll all have at least one enjoyable experience!

I honestly haven't even picked an outfit for my first day if school...and it's Friday.

The summer went by wayyy too fast! I'm not even sure if we actually had a real summer or if I dreamt it last night.

                                                   Let's have fun! Happy August!

J.Crew 000: My Personal Opion

The first thing I should say is that I am definitely all for the new J. Crew size. Why? That's simple! I'm a very petite girl who can barely get away with wearing a J. Crew 00.
All the criticism and also slight racism is a bit much (don't you think). Considering the fact that most of the conflict is coming from those who don't even purchase J. Crew. The number 000 means what? In my opinion it means nothing... The fact that God made me a very petite person means ABSOLUTELY nothing. It doesn't mean that I am unhealthy in some way. Don't associate the size with health. The critics are making it out to seem as if small-structured people like me don't exist. WE DO
...we extended additional sizing to accommodate customer demand primarily coming from our Hong Kong/ Asia market.  This has nothing to do with vanity sizing and accounts for the smallest percentage of our overall sizing assortment. As Im sure you know, we also offer size 16, petites, tall, size 5 and 12 shoe  sizes as well as special swim sizes (long and short  torsos, D-cup, etc) also introduced based on demand. - Says J.Crew Spokesperson

Twitter has exploded with the criticizing tweets. I've seen enough hinted racism towards the Asia Market. No matter how small or how big a person is, nor who they are; no person should have to feel such criticism on their natural stature. If you'd criticize a healthy person whether they're a size 000 or a size 30 you'd be wrong in my book. The only persons size I'd ever criticize is my own.
My point to get across is that J.Crew won't be able to make everyone happy. Which is life. This is their business and they want to appeal to the Asia market, though I am not at all saying that they shouldn't make bigger clothing for bigger people also. I am saying that this is how their business is going to earn money from the opening of their new Hong Kong stores. Understand this...everyone is made differently and that doesn't make anyone unhealthy because they have a  23 in. waist or because they can fit a size 000. Take into consideration that one girl who has been petite all her life and always wanted to be a 'normal' size, because she thought she was too petite. Don't criticize this girl because God gave her a small bone structure.

Remember that no matter what size you are you're beautiful.
